Nice idea on the aluminum frames and suspending them from chains might work great for the cathedral ceiling.

I have 9' ceilings as well. What panels did you use to get enough lumens given the height of the light above the playing surface.

I used these aluminum extrusions to hang two LED panels over my GC. They screw right to your ceiling. I was happy with them. They give a modern look. They work great as far as amount of light, even though they are flush to the ceiling. My ceiling is 9' high. Just offering another option that is cheap, you can do yourself, and looks good (IMO).

Selling this GC2 near atlanta. Anyone interested? It's had maybe 100 plays since being set up and refelted. We just don't play it enough to warrant the space it takes up.
