These days things are worth only what someone will pay for it. I'd say around $700 or so is a good place to start if you don't need it out by the end of the week. If you do need it gone asap then you'll have to suck it up and take less to get someone motivated enough to move it fast.
It used to be that a gold crown in any condition was worth over 1k, and a really nice one anywhere from 2-3.5k or so, but that's just not the case any more. One sold on ebay last week for around $125 total. I bought mine 6 months ago or so for $150 total including delivery.
I've seen plenty listed for 1000+ and they simply never did sell, one for $750 took well over a month.
Hell I've seen anniversaries for $700 and less, one only $300. One beautiful centennial 5x10 snooker table sold near me just before I bought my gold crown for $300. Those all sold the very first day, people needed them out fast but still it's just an example of how the market has changed.
Only so many pool halls can go out of business and only so many people can loose their homes all at once and then tables flood the market until all sale prices suffer drastically. Last week there was a free brunswick 9' near me, not a gold crown but same slate set.
I wanted to go pick it up for parts but couldn't arrange transporatation in time, someone did pick that up. Those sellers tried it listed for $300 for a long time and it never did sell until they relisted it as free. It was an uglier formica 70's table but still, we're talking 9' brunswick for free.
