I think the new Brunswick Metro displayed at the at the Summit looks like a fanatastic table. I love the bowed side rails and classy trim.

Any Brunswick dealers or anyone else know what these table's sell for?

Metro pricing

According to Brunswick the msrp for the Metro 8' is 4499. The msrp for the 9' is 4999. That is with 1" framed slate on both sizes. Hope this helps.

Dufferin made a table called the D1, but it didn't do very well and discontinued it. Brunswick picked up the design and made the Metro.

Wow, that's actually cheaper than I though the table would cost. It is a beautiful table that seems to play well, sure was breaking easy at this years WPC with loose pockets too.

That is one bad table.. which is good if you know what I mean. I think the Brunswick name helped out a lot. Marketing helps tons too.

Dufferin actually had a good run with their D1 - (It was their other tables that had little market penetration and led to shutting down the table operation) Color options in Black, Blue,Maple offered good variety for various tastes. They were not targeting serious player's, or didnt know how to. Brunswick "Metro" offers a similar styled table but knows how to design tables with serious players in mind. The Metro surpases the D1 design by incorporating the same "flush" pockets as they use on the Gold Crown IV, leg levelers are standard for fast, precise leveling, and Brunswick offers the table in a 9' commercial version - something Dufferin never did. The table is priced right too! Slightly above the Centurion, but well below the Gold Crown IV. :D

The Metro used for the World Summit of Pool was auctioned off after the event for a mere 2K even.
