We got some great news in the fact that the space where I will be putting a table in has enough room for a 9 footer. Wheee!

Bad news is that I just missed a great shape GCIII for $500 a few months ago

Is the Monarch a good model? This one specifically, aside from the ugly pockets, the rest of it looks to be in OK shape. http://boston.craigslist.org/nwb/spo/4263294713.html

That table is not a monarch. Monarch are the type of cushions that original came on the table. If you want to try to find out what model table it is here's a link that might help: http://www.brunswickbilliards.com/our_rich_history/antique_tables/index.html

Oops, you're right about the cushion name. The funny part is that I read that correctly before but somehow my brain forgot it and went back to the table name.

That table looks pretty good, and I could have sworn I have seen that ball return style before.

Thanks for that link, found similar tables on page 3, Jefferson (which is shown as a 3C table but does have a pockets model) and Madison, only difference is that the legs have piping around the edges.
