I stopped by Family Billiards in San Francisco the other day to check out their weekly 9-Ball tournament. It was a well-packed house, with about 120 plus people and a 64-player tournament field!
Bucktooth walks in, and everyone starts asking him to play 9-Ball (probably because this happened). Tony Chohan, Amar Kang, and others were all trying to make a game and get a piece of Bucktooth's bankroll. I guess some pool players have a sixth sense for when they have a chance to make a good score -- or when they find out someone can't run 2 balls.
Bucktooth told Tony and Amar that he would play if they gave him a little bit more than the last kid who beat him, since they play stronger, and that they could win enough money to retire on. Then, he tells Tony something like "I know you won't leave town if you rob me...". And of course, the "negotiating" continued from there...
I had to leave early (due to work), but does anyone know if anything went down?
