Buffalo's Pro Classic May 20-25, 2025

Okay Filler won $40k in the Tourney and $100k in the Auction. Filler cost $41k in the Calcutta. Pretty safe to say he didn't buy any of himself in the auction. I would guess he paid his $2k entry but not sure (I know he ain't broke).

So based on the assumptions and the numbers what should the buyer give Filler of the $150k Calcutta money? I have an opinion but just curious what others say.

i was under the impression jf didn't buy any of himself in the calcutta/auction, is that correct?

After I made the post my friend Juice whose there said Filler is being staked. So no clue if that's portal to portal, travel, room and board, meals, entry fees, Calcutta's, etc

If he's being staked for everything then they have some sort of arranged deal, example - the backer gets all his costs off the top and they split up what is remaining.

Could be 35/65 or 40/60. I think 50/50 would be strong.

Congratulations to Joshua Filler; he is the 2025 Buffalo's Pro Classic Champion.
He went undefeated in a field of champions to take home the biggest prize money payout in one pocket tournament history.
Great event for Tony Chohan with a hard-fought 2nd-place finish.
Fantastic shooting, guys.

I see Ray has this year's event on his calendar as May 19-24. Starting to plan spring vacation time at work, taking a pass on Derby and hope to attend this. Have they had any talk about the Matchroom UK Open starts immediately after this? Will some of these top guys take a pass on the event? Too bad they don't shift that 1 Ball 1 Pocket thing and start the 1P a day earlier and finish up on the Saturday instead. Always eat well in NOLA!

SVB posted on Facebook today he wasn't go Buffalo's. Bummer. Wonder how many of these top guys are going to go instead to chase Matchroom points at the Scottish and UK Opens. 😞(n)
