Has anyone tried the Gorilla super glue gel? I understand it works with these tips, I have 2 I want to install in different shafts, it will be done by hand and have sanded one so far but haven’t gone any further

Yes, I use Gorilla glue gel to install these tips. Works well for me. No issues.

If we're talking the recoil, then yes GG gel works very well.

Face your ferrule and the tip. You don't have to (and shouldn't) cut grooves in them. Just sand on a piece of sandpaper sitting on a flat surface for the tip. Hold the tip and do figure 8s until the surface is uniformly matte and flat.

EDIT: forgot to mention, clean the ferrule surface and the tip with high proof IPA before gluing. This will ensure there are no hand oils or grease on the surface.

i should have said that there are carbon fiber shafts from different makers if that makes any difference, also DOES ANY PRESSURE NEED TO BE APPLIED IN ORDER TO ADHERE! I know I used caps it was so it would be seen!
