Four ebony points with four veneers into curly maple. It has four ivory windows in the butt (the original owners name is engraved in one window). Nice ivory chain links at a,b,d,& e. Three shafts -- 12.5mm, 12.8mm, and 13.5mm. Cue length varies depending on shaft (57" or 59"). The 13.5mm shaft is 28". The cue weighs between 19.3ozs to 19.8ozs. Why Me

I tell all my stick maker buddies I am trying to stop buying cues for me and I see this! Nicest one I have seen in years. It looks new has it been refinished I notice it has a clear coat looking finish. The cue looks like it was in a time capsual. Wow! I want to thank you for posting those fine pictures. I might put them in a folder and scope on it now and then. Joel Hereck has to see this. Made my day. Nick
 
Nick- Your kind words are appreciated. I sent Mr. Hercek pictures of the cue and he extended an offer to research the name inscribed in the window. I have to believe the cue's been refinished at some point. I can tell you that the previous owner and myself did not do it and the cue has seen little play in my hands.

To be honest with a example like that I see no lose in value. Who ever did the work did the cue proud. Also the top quality refinish insures the cue will stay straight and solid actually adding value to some because it insures the cues wood is stabalized! Nick

i would love to see this cue in person as i have only had one other of burton's cue to look at and drool on, truly a master in cuemaking...
