The 3 Pinoys are the only ones left in contention now with GLI deciding their fate to the finals.
 
This means that only Bustamante, Reyes, and Manalo have a chance to go through. This is awesome since Efren and Manalo play each other dooming the loser. And Bustamante must win out to possibly go through. GLI will come into play only if Bustamante win out over Mika.

You mean that if Bustamante beats Mika to go 4-1 and is tied with either Efren or Manalo he's not guaranteed to play in the finals despite having beaten both of them? That's just nuts. The first criterion to determine a tiebreaker has got to be head-to-head competition. That just seems ridiculous to me.

I agree that is not right. I think they are trying to also prevent collusion by using the GLI. I hope they iron this out in their post tournament evaluation by possibly using win/lose percentage instead of GLI AFTER head-to-head competition AFTER win-loss record. :o
