Buy a cue pre or post SBE

So I am headed to the SBE and its time to get into a new cue. I have been seeing a lot of deals pop up and I am assuming people are freeing up funds to get into new cues at the SBE.

I am more of a performance guy and do not need a lot of ivory or fancy inlays (as much as I appreciate them).

My question is do you think it is better to buy a cue now or wait until everyone picks up a new cue and dumps their old players after the SBE?
 
Wait...go to the show and see what comes up. Thurs (early) and Sunday (late) are the best times. If nothing can be had then I'm sure you'll find something on AZ post SBE.
 
There's no difference......the real answer has already been offered......buy at the show, not before it or after the show......buy at the show.
