Hi members.

First I wanted to say Merry Christmas to each of you and hope you have a great holiday.
Many of you have spoken with me directly, to others on my behalf, posted reviews and chosen to support ManningCues.com.

This has contributed to the success and growth of Manning Cues and know the future development of Lifetime Warranty Accessories.
I've played pool for 30+ years and have purchased the same accessories over and over again for one reason or another.
I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for so with that thought...
I want to create a high quality line of accessories with lifetime warranty.

"Buy It Once" concept with no need to buy it again and again.....

I value your opinions and experience in billiards.
I want to ask each of you to post your accessories pro's and con's.
What you like about accessories and what you don't and why?

Once we produce an accessory we will contact members who have contributed to the development to test a prototype.

Thank you for your time :)

Tip scuffer like Kamui Gator Grip should definitely be amongst the Buy it once list. It lasts for an eternity if used correctly and is by far the best type of scuffer I have used :)

I really like the idea behind this as I am a quality first type of guy :o

Agree about the Gator Grip. It's expensive but it's such a nice tool! Good size that slips into and out of a case pocket easily, fully covered when not in use but the magnet closure make it just a quick slip to open it up. Kamui really nailed that one IMO...not sure if makes sense to try and duplicate it/beat it.

I'd love a good cue holder that was smaller than my Q-Claw. I like the Q-Claw because it's all rubber jaws seems nice and safe for a cue and there is no exposed metal, but I find it kinda bulky and would love something that had a similar function but was more streamlined.

Ultimate Tip Tool is still my favorite for shaping the tip to dime or nickle and for cleaning up a mushrooming tip. I never use the top tapper portion though because I have my Kamui Gator Grip for that...so I would love all that functionality made just a touch smaller by removing the tapper portion.

Small leather snap pouch that holds two pieces of chalk. Just a nice way to cary chalk and I can find it in the pocket by feel because of it's soft leather exterior, which is why I keep using it instead of the small 2-pack chalk boxes that nice chalk comes in.

Cue cloth. I have sweaty hands so I like to wipe down my cues before putting them back in my case. Always had trouble finding one that was the right size (not too big...just 8" square is about right). Ended up having one sewn for me from a very soft cotton t-shirt and I always keep that in my case pocket.

Quality joint protectors. It's easy to find really cheap plastic ones and you can always custom order some, but finding good quality joint protectors can be tough. I'd love to see some quality machined delrin ones with metal pins.

That's about it besides a Q-Wiz...but again, I think they really nailed that one so I wouldn't try to reinvent it I don't think. Plus you can just have branded ones done by them.

A very simple but extremely effective accessory I have been using recently is the Hanbat tip burnisher. In its essence it is a piece of wood with a profile cut into it. The picture on kozoom shows a round profile, but the ones I bought in Europe had a square (well, half a square) profile.

I've tried the burnisher on the 6-in-1 tool and the standalone plastic porper burnisher and this wooden hanbat one outperforms them to an amazing degree. I bought a few of them because some of my buddies also play hanbat cues and I wanted to get them something. Universally they have been amazed how effectively they polish up the sides of the tips.

The slightly conical interior shapes of the conventional burnishers never polish the whole side of the tip for me, but the hanbat does it easily. Might be something to look at.

Good luck with the venture.

Seems to me that most accessories are already made to last a lifetime, BUT I'd like to submit a candidate for a needed product that will fit that description.

Please see the two examples of homemade tall bridges in the thread below:

http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=442598&highlight=jump+bridge

What they have in common is that they are tall enough to bridge over a number of balls and that they are transparent so as to not interfere with the player's view of the cue ball and the clearance cue ball's clearance.

I don't think anyone is making these for sale.

I swear , when I first read it it said " Buy an Ounce" - I was gonna inquire by the pound lol.
