Buying a Meucci butt for an OB Classic+ shaft?

I'm looking to buy a replacement 5/16x18 butt, and my playing shaft is a 5/16x18 OB Classic+. I found some nice looking Meucci butts that would fit the bill on eBay, but I'm worried about fit.

I know Meucci uses the 5/16x18 pin, but I've read that their threads aren't always exactly the same as other cue manufacturers who use that pin. Would that or size be an issue (butt bigger/smaller than shaft)?

My OB Classic+ fits well on my 5/16x18 Players and Schmelke butts for what it's worth.
 
I've never had any problems with Meucci 5/16-18 pin and shafts from other brands. Meucci's joint collar diameter is quite a bit smaller than what most other production companies use. Meucci is about.791" while Mezz, Joss, Predator etc. all are around .840"

Gotcha. So would there be a big mismatch between the shaft and butt in terms of size?
 
I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Meucci butt and it's an almost perfect fit for my OB Classic+ shaft. There is a lip but it's actually less noticeable than when the shaft was on my Schmelke butt. Thanks for the help everyone.
