Hi

Are real snooker balls in tournaments 2 and 1/16 inch instead of 2 and 1/8 or 2 1/4? Also, living in the US, where can I buy such sized balls (ozone billiards and pool dawg don't seem to have them in 2 1/16 inch sizes).

Thanks

Hi There!,

The Snooker balls that are used in all WPBSA (World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association) Snooker championships which include the UK, Welsh, China, Northern Ireland and World Championships and the Masters use sets which are sized 2 1/16 inches, these are the very best Aramith Tournament Champion Sets all the way from their Belgium premises (as far as I know), I know for sure that they are 2 1/16 inches in size though. I'm not aware of any suppliers in America, but over in Preston, England, FCSnooker are suppliers, www.fcsnooker.co.uk. The official TV ball sets are about 99 pounds in English money though!

They'll be no good for you without the table to go with them. The ball size you need is governed by the height of the rubber on the cushions, and small balls with big pockets makes it silly.
