JoeyA would you please pm me sir. I have some questions about the Tournies in Slidell.

Jamie
Jamie, the Two Sisters tournaments in Slidell are on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month. !st Sat. is barbox 9-ball race to 5. 2nd Sat. is big table 9-ball race to 5. They usually draw about 30-35 players, but they only pay the top 3-4 places! It's only $25 entry, but to me, a waste of money. The events start around 4 PM, with a lively Calcutta preceding them. There's always action during and after the tournies.

While the pay out is less than desired for anyone other than the top 3 places, this tournament gives you a chance to play some very good players for cheap money as well as pass a good time. Did I say the girls there are SMOKING HOT? :-)

I would rather invest $25 in a tournament like this than play a race to 9 for $25 with only one player. The Calcutta expense could be very cheap depending on your level of play and how close the buyers are to your table when warming up. Doc just can't slip by any of the high-buyers because of that big nine ball stroke which he is modifying to play one pocket.
