Man I needed to hear that!
I am a shaft nazi! I have no use for the "high tech snake oil" that hits like stale toast. I also have really sensitive eyes and need REALLY clean shafts, especially for the last 15" or so.
Chad said the the four he pulled for these two were old and clean, and I have high hopes.
Talking with him is always a pleasure, he's a detail freak, and does things for a reason.
I have high hopes, and just hope I'm being fair and not setting expectations to high. I mean a dream cue I fell in love with twenty years ago, what do I think it's going to play like? :thumbup
Dirty, you will not be dissappointed, if you like a shaft that has great feel, you'll love these. I don't know what Chad puts on them but they are slick as glass. They don't seem to throw the balls as much as my ld shafts either. My shafts have Triangle tips on them, i've been using layered h2 but the Triangles are working better for me then i would have thought.
The cue is balanced just right for me as well, it just seems to sit well in yor hands. Everyone who has shot with it loves it. The leather wrap is put on so well you have to turn the cue a few turns to actually see the seam.
I think you will be pleased with your cues cause they will be spot on. I have three of Chad's cues and as soon as get some things cleared up i'm going to get him to build another:thumbup:
Chad got the maple player in, what can i say everything i expected. great cue, looking forward to another shortly.
