:confused: I have a very old customer - long time customer and he is old - he is an old friend who is in poor health. He has asked me time and time again to put a "camel hair tip" on his cue (he called me long distance today and asked again). He swears (he does a lot of that) that he has had a camel hair tip on his cue years and years ago. I would like very much to put one on his cue for him but --- I haven't heard of camel hair tips so I am lost. Does anyone know anything about them, heard anything about them, know where in God's green earth I can buy one? I would appreciate any information.

um.......um........you mean actually made out of camel hair??? i'd like to know who on God's green earth thought of making one..........

I was told about this camel hair tip by a German immigrant here in the Philippines about half a decade ago. His family was originally from Hamburg before they migrated to Vancouver then to Melbourne and eventually ending up here in the Philippines. Harald Michaelis like his father, was in the snooker, billiard table manufacturing business for more then 50 years when he finally retired. He was the one who mentioned this camel hair tip to me and how they manufacture them. The old-timers did use them and it originated from Europe.
