Here are some pictures of a cue i built with a camphor burl handle camphor burl is real light and soft need to put a stiff core in it.I put a .875 flat lam maple core in the cue and it came out nice and stiff. Also it is a very oily wood it took almost a year for the piece i used to dry and stablize if you drill a under size hole through say .625 and hang back up it should speed up the process.

Very nice. Thanks.

Very nice is right. In your opinion, is that a typical amount of figure in that burl, is this one particularly nice, or does it get better? Thanks.
