Like Ceebee says John Parker is the actual cuemaker of Auerbach. I bought a new beautiful 2004 Auerbach with great ringwork, osage orange and BEM woods, pointwork was pretty clean. Really a stunning looker. Was not able to play with it before buying. The feel / hit and playability was very disappointing to me and sold it within weeks.
Since you're local go check'em out for yourself. I don't claim to be a custom cue expert but I know what I like. The hit is all a very personal and subjective thing. Good Luck OHPlayer.
