Can anyone tell me what thread?

This Predator ZII shaft was purchased for use on an earlier (1980's) Scruggs cue. Does anyone know if there are other butts out there, less expensive hopefully, that this shaft could be used with? Thanks.

That is a 5/16x14 piloted thread shaft, which is very common.

Joss, Schon, Falcon are all cheap-ish cues with this thread, there are many others.
