can anyone tell me

can anyone tell me please about all the words used in snooker?
=============

Why, yes, I think someone can. Which words are you having trouble with? We have pot or potting for pocketing. We have side for left or right english. We have nap for the little threads that stick up in one direction on the table cloth. We have screw for reverse english. We have rake for the bridge. There are more, but that's probably enough from me for one day.

D - the area where the cue ball is placed to break or after it has ended up in a pocket.

Spin: Screw, Stun, Side, Swerve, Top - which one you get depends on where you contact the cue ball

Bottle - British speak - nerve :D

Bottom of table - yellow, brown, green, D end of table
Top of table - black ball end of table
Snooker players do this to drive pool players nuts :grin:

This site should make you fluent :grin:

Some of the words I use here at home when practicing cannot be printed here:grin:
