I have an item that Spankman8 would like to inspect. I was considering sending him the item in good faith that he will send it back or make a deal with me. Can anyone vouch for him and let me know if I am safe by sending him this item on faith? Much appreciated.

Spankman and Spanky981 are not the same person. Spanky981 is Mike Badzik and he is a stand up guy. Not that spankman isn't, but I just haven't had any dealing with him.
