Cue listed on e-bay. For some reason the seller chooses not to show mark on butt cap. Anyone know the cue?

Maybe a Mali from the 80's..............mike

This is a Joss East design in the 70s to early 80s, seen a couple of this. Bill never did made a design like this. The original buttcap would have indicated a large font inscripted JOSS logo on a delrin butt. The Josswest of this era as you would know, is a J with the inverted W.

Looks like a JW to me, though from the ringwork on the shafts, it looks like one of them may not be original (or JW made). I have never seen a Joss East that had maple boxes in the ringwork like that.

Bill just emailed me and confirm this is not one of his. i seen a couple joss east with maple boxes, but they are the earlier ones in the mid to late 70s. those days Dan still using spliced points.

The cue in the original post looks a lot like a Steve Mizerak cue from about 1990 or so.... Sold at K-Mart... I could be wrong...
