Hi all, this is my first post on this site and I have become addicted to billiards I had a Chinese table for a couple of years (8 foot) and after playing on 9 footers at pool halls, began resenting my old table. I bought a Black Crown (as Diamonds are hard to come by in Ontario and Gold Crowns would have been a long wait). I ordered a Black Crown which is advertised as a solid commercial/tournament table. A lot of pool halls in Ontario have these in their inventory. I love the way it plays BUT am upset about the pocket size
The website states that the pockets comply with BCA specs but the pockets are approx. 5 inches. My understanding is that BCA has adopted WPA standards for tournament tables and pockets should be 4.5 inches. Any input would be appreciated as I am not nearly as experienced as many of the people on this site. I want to approach the manufacturer for a solution. Here is link for the table:
