Carbon fiber jump cue from Amazon.

I've been seeing these around a bit lately and decided to go on Amazon and pull the trigger.
$129.00 plus tax, all told $140 and change.
Cue came wrapped in 2 separate boxes and inside those was a 1x1 hard shell case containing the cue itself, complete with JP's.
Very sturdy set up.
20" butt with a 29" shaft, 13.8mm bakelite tip. All in all, a nice piece of equipment.
Scuffed the tip up and I had no trouble jumping over balls 6" away. Draw, high and sidespin all with no probs. This thing made jumping easy. For the price, an excellent value. Well made piece of gear.
OK Healing was the brand on mine. I think there are 3 or 4 other brands that appear the same.
Can't beat it for the price!! I like the extra length. My diamondwood is much shorter. I'll retire it since they aren't making anymore of it and use this cue. The extra length allows for a more accurate shot.
In my case, I need all the help I can get with that.😂

Sometimes you do get a winner. Hopefully it lasts and remeber you get what you pay for, so if it turns to crap in 6 months. Enjoy it while you can.

I'll check back after the first of the year and let you know.
I'm not advocating for people to go buy these.
I saw them in use, watched the low level of players being able to jump using them and decided to try one. Post is for informational purposes only.

Being carbon fiber, the only questionable part imo would be the joint. How well will it hold up and if it'll stay tight??

While I was learning how to jump, I bought the inexpensive Little Monster. I could not jump with it and sold it. As I learned how to jump, however, I could jump with my wooden Dufferin and wondered whether the Little Monster is better than I thought.

To jump properly, you need to learn the stroke for jump shots. It's different from a regular cue stroke. But I'm sure you already know this. Most jumpers new to the game use far too much power to achieve the jump. It's all in the wrist and proper contact angle of the tip on the cue ball. For me anyway. That angle changes of course, if you're trying to apply draw, side or smooth follow after the jump.
Novices are getting air in my local hall with these CF cues. That being said, whatever works for you. This game has as much a psychological component as physical. Perish the thot, but I jumped w my ivory ferruled Scruggs back in the day. 😱(Shudder)
