Carbon Fiber rod

How hard is cf to work with, can you cut it tap it etc, i know it has it's pitfalls
Haven't done anything with CF other than pads and tube/shafts. Saw some rod for sale and wondered how it would be for CF break shaft ferrules. If I had a spare cf shaft I would try it but none to spare at the moment.

Easy to work with, very abrasive. Similar to g10.

Haven't tried. I'd expect live threading would work well.
