I have shot with only a handful of custom cues. I own 3 Giuli cues, a BCovey, an AE, several high end production cues including Joss, McDermott, Pechaeur, Predator, etc. I’ve have tried to crossover to carbon several times without success because of the hit/feedback.
Giuli cues are without a doubt a top quality build with any extremely great hit and feedback when using his maple shafts. I have been able to fine tune my speed for shape better than any other cue except the AE which is very similar in balance. I’m looking forward to getting a kielwood shaft from Carl as soon as possible.
If you have doubts, find the time to shoot a Giuli Cue.
I have made the statement to several friends to purchase one now before they sell for what they are worth. I have never met this cue builder in person and I’m not prejudice to his work for any monetary reasons.
What drew me to take a chance on a cue was his artistic ability with striking features at a very reasonable price.
Sometimes marketing can be what makes the breakthrough into success. I truly believe his work belongs with the top 20 custom builders out there.
I ended up with 3 of his cues because I was not going to let them go for peanuts and I underpaid on the last two I purchased. I now have a local group of guys trying to talk me out of any one of them.
I hope my post does not push a special order of my ideas out of my price range but if it does then he will be making what he deserves.
Everyone enjoy the 2026 show. I may be able to get there someday and Mr. Giuli don’t sell the spalted with green veneers at the show…..
