Thanks for fixing the pictures. I loved this cue when I saw it when you originally posted it and had it bookmarked. Do you know what species of wood is in the sunburst pattern on the buttsleeve? I really like the contrast of the red/orange against the black.

Well...the sun itself is abalone/mother of pearl (one or the other). I believe the rays are simply dyed veneers...probably sycamore or maple. Carolina did a great job.
