I owned a Whitten "standard" 2x4 at one time. Very well built case. I'm use to some weight in my hand...
What I notice most in the pics I've seen of the Lites, what intrigues me the most, is that they now have an inset above the tubes. I consider this a must for a case I'll own. The one thing I particularly disliked about the standard I owned was having to pour cues out of the case - even with the included "spacers". I can't abide having to do that, and I don't want the lid exerting much pressure down against the cue components when they are in a closed case. I want to be able to reach in & easily pluck the pieces out w/ the jp's.
I'm not one to put much stock in the necessity to have the cues "locked down" in the case. The interior should preclude damage if they move a bit, the lid should be capable of keeping the cues from coming out, and the whole package should provide some stability in temperature & humidity.
