Centennial score wheels

I just had a centennial reconditioned/refinished, 50's era, and it arrived with one set of red wheels, the rest brown. Since then I have found pictures of several Centennial tables with the same set up-- one set of score wheels is red. I was wondering if the set of red wheels is factory original, and if so, why?

When Mark Gregory redid my table that is the way he did mine. I questioned it because the original restoration was brown. He told me they should have been mixed to be authentic. ( One set red and one brown ).

Believe it was another way to distinguish score as left and right can be confusing.
