Anyone ever use this?

I'm only half kidding. Seems like, usually, the shot requires, at least, some minimal amount of something.

(Yea, I know... I've never played perfect pool)

when i think of "center ball" i think of right in the middle, obviously. no left, no right, no high, no low. i hear announcers on TV talk all the time about how a shot is just "center ball" yet i know that is not right. as you say there has to be just a little of left/right/high/low to get the cue ball where it went.

for example, last night i watched a tape of Bustamante and Efren playing. the announcers said its just center ball and come in behind the '7' ball to get position on the '2'. i could tell that wouldnt work. Busta hit the shot, bumped the '7' ball, and ended up with no position as a result. the announcers said he made a mistake. no, its called the Laws Of Physics, he couldnt do anything else with just center ball.

read an article once that said "The Myth Of Center Ball"

just my $.02
