CF shaft for 5/16x14 question

I'm considering a Whyte Carbon TS1 shaft for my Espiritu cue with 5/16x14 pin. The Espiritu has a piloted joint but the TS1 shaft is flat faced. Any issues using a flat face CF shaft on a piloted steel joint?
 
No issue
I have a flat faced 5/16x14 shaft that I got for a flat faced butt and it works great on all the piloted butts that I have as well.
On all 3rd party piloted shafts, the pilot is so small in order to "fit all" that it is negligible and might have been flat faced...
