Healing's butt is carbon fiber on the outside and wood inside.
Konllen's butt is wood on the outside and carbon fiber inside (model KL-08).

Healing writes "Prove Everything With Details". Details there on butt's interior but no details on what an AXD Technology Kinetic Butt means. Hard to tell what Healing did with its Black Technology on the shafts although the shaft is Adopt T700 material (?). The "aggravating system" appears to be weights in butt.

Looks like they're intended to slide back and forth as the cue changes direction/speed. It's been done before - if so I don't think it really accomplishes anything useful.

mosconi ran 526 balls with a normal cue by todays standards .... most people chasing magic wands cant run a rack .... its the indian .... spend more time at the table and less time worrying about every little detail you can find. .... keep it simple

This is all so exhausting- just play pool!
Its good the Chinese are innovating. Granted, the butt does not seem to be the place for exciting innovation. These minor things may make for improvement Look at the popularity of the shafts made of both carbon fiber and wood. There may just be something there that makes a better cue stick.

To be useful there needs to be springs and damping fluid between the little masses.

Useful? What is it supposed to do? The weight of a heavy cue, but the impact energy of a light cue? Worst of both worlds. This isn't a unique idea, it's just that most of the people (myself included) who have tried it abandoned it because it was a bad idea.

It doesn't matter what Mosconi did with his normal cue because neither you or I can do it with more time at the table or a magic cue. The point of innovation (or marketing) is to keep things moving forward. ANYTHING that drives revenue to our game is a good thing, if these guys become sponsors for the game then we shoud all buy one even if we continue to use our normal cues and stick theirs in a closet.

We need all the Money we can get in the industry, so buy gloves, carbon fiber shafts, delta racks, or weight adjustable cues, it all goes in the same pot. Until the players can make a real living, not just the top few, but the top 100 or more, then lets support anything that drives Money our way.
