anyone know where I can pick up the original Chalk Dude. Its a retractable chalk holder, with an alligator clip. I'm having a hard time finding online, I ordered rom one place but they shipped me retracable chalk holder with a belt clip. Mine is falling apart and im trying to replace it.

Looks like the belt clip version is all they sell now... I can't imagine relacing the belt clip with an alligator clip would be too challenging though.
ill take a look at it when I get home, but I think the belt clip is screwed right onto the back like a tape measure.
If that's the case, there are alligator clips in the electrical supply section of the home improvement stores that have holes in the "handle" side that should easily replace the clip. I screwed a couple to a piece of wood for a portable soldering station.
