Chalk Holder

So this is a chalk holder that I designed and then had 3d printed. It really came out great. It has a great hold on the chalk. Sorry for the pictures. Working on one for another member here. I design it then I upload to shapeways.com From there a person could order whatever type of material that they like. Not actually trying to sell any of these. I just really like how it turned out.

How much work would it take to make an octagon version (for Predator chalk) or slightly smaller for Kamui?

That one actually has Kamui chalk in it. I think the actual chalk in there is the Kamui 1.21B. It is really a perfect fit. It takes me a couple hours to fully design one. The Predator one would take a little longer since I would need to get my hands on some of that chalk first. It would still probably not take too long though.

The cost really comes down to what materials a person would choose to use. Here is the direct link to mine.

If you scroll through materials on the right side it shows prices for different materials. Of course each one will be a different cost as the design changes and the amount of material that is used changes.

Thanks for the info and I'd love to get one since I use Kamui chalk also. I use the original .91 version and I'm not sure if the od dimensions are the same since I've never seen the 1.21 version you have in your holder.

It's actually whether the chalk is the alpha version or beta version, which is noted by an 'a' or 'b' after the '1.21' or '.98'.

The alpha version of the chalk is smaller than a standard size of chalk (by standard, I mean the size of a Master cube). The beta version is larger, and is the standard size cube, and will fit in all standard-sized chalk holders.

I've owned both the alpha, and beta versions.
