I used the Quick Clean on my old Simonis and it really helped speed it up and play nicer - but since I just had Tour Edition put on, I need to do a little homework before I start using that stuff.

Other than seeing the advertisements, very few people (pool table mechanics and/or room owners) have heard of it and are using it.

What's the opinion on that stuff and should I use it on new cloth.

I have a pool room that i use the quick clean in all the time. After i covor the tables i will clean it with the Quick Clean to take some of the slide off the table. I also use to travle with Dave the inventor, We were contracted by Dimone pool tables to come to their tournaments to keep the tables clean for them. All of the pro players love it and most of them would ask us to clean their tables before every match. I would qwatch the Chalk Off i have herd it will cause cancer. I havnt seen it but i saw on here that a guy read it on the can at the US Open. The Quick Clean is the best for your table.

I've just started using quick clean and I think it does an amazing job on my table.......but last year at this time nobody up here even heard of it. :)

Thanks Doug...
As I said - I KNOW IT WORKS! It speeded up my old Simonis and made it play a lot quicker. The Simonis seemed to be really slowing down and I was just trying to get it back to speed before I recovered.

I'm just a little hesitant to use it on brand new cloth. I live in a pretty active pool playing town and the guy who did my table is "The Man" - the best in town. When he hadn't heard of it and seemed skeptical - it makes me cautious.

I think I'll try and call Simonis or Championship and see what they say.

Thanks for your input.

Know what you mean about nobody hearing about it. I heard about it and couldn't get it locally but finally bought a couple of cans online. I can tell you that that first spray really seemed like a bold move...LOL:) My heart was racing big time until those little white droplets dried!!!!:o

But after it dried (like 5 seconds later) - I could tell right away that it worked. I used that stuff like 10 more times in the next two days and was overjoyed at how well it worked.

Thanks for your input.

I used it on my old Simonis and when I recovered I continued to use it. It has been about 15 months since I've recovered without seeing any ill effects from the quick clean.
I periodically vacumn it then clean it with a damp cloth. I believe that does a better job, but it is much more time intensive and you have to wait for the cloth to dry before you can use it again.

heard of it, and can't wait to use some of this magic stuff, seen it on a commercial looks like a miracle. Thanks for the heads up guys.

Hello all, my name is Bill, I work in sales at Championship. If any would like to discuss QUIK CLEAN cleaner with Tour Edition... feel free to call me at 800 323-2852 ext 110. I do know how they react with a couple other brands as well. Generally a great product, but like any great cure... theres side affects.

Good thread-

Quick Clean

Hi Guy's here is a number if you would like to order some. 804-314-5706 This is Dave's cell number. You can also order it off of his website at www.quick-clean.com The pool room i use it in has really cut my time for covering the tables. I now covor them about every 8 to 9 months and they are played on everyday all day. The pool room open's at 10:00 am and closes at 1 or 2 am. I will really make your cloth last.
