Challenges being a pool fan

I like tournaments they are great. Fun to watch because competition is strong.

They are just too much work to get to as a fan.

I've been requesting at the local pool hall for exhibition matches.

I can always get to pool halls in my area. Scheduling time to go to a tournament is just too much of an effort.

Is it possible for room owners to make money running an exhibition match by sacrificing a league night when international players are visiting?

The worst is going to a major tournament and seeing those heavy legends in action but not playing at their best because of "circumstances."

As a fan its more fun to see my favorite players, enjoying themselves while they work. At a tournament they just laser focused on competing at their highest possible level. An exhibition match might not cause as much drama but it is still pretty entertaining as a fan.
