Just got back from Championship's Seminar. I can not give praise enough to Championship for putting these on. Everything about it was impressive. The President of the company Fred Cohen does a terrific job explaining the process of making their different cloths. He also does a presentation on cushions which I liked alot. Vice President Mike Serra was a wealth of knowledge and a all around great guy. For attending the Seminar each mechanic was given a $200.00 credit for the company they represent. (good for 1 mechanic per company ) They als gave us a tool box with many different tools and materials we use on the job. They gave us rail bags for keeping rails safe during transport. Their head mechanic John Beecher did a nice job showing cloth streching and how to put new cushions on rails. It is nice seeing how someone else does the same thing as you but in a different way. An open mind is needed in this part of the seminar. I would also like to thank Bill Dunne for all the work he does getting these things together and Laurie Serra for doing alittle bit of everything at Championship . My old friend John Palmer demonstrated his invention the OTLvise. He stole the show at the end of the day. That dolly rocks! I highly reccomend this Seminar for any caliber mechanic. I truely believe you can learn something from this. Please feel free to call me if you are considering going but want more info. I believe in what they are doing at Championship!

What states do they do these in and what credentials are needed to attend? There isn't a big demand for mechanics here where I'm at but I would love to learn the trade.

John Palmer has a great way of getting the slate or pool table components to the set up area.
His dolly/tool can really be a back, neck, leg, shoulder and a life saver when it comes time to setting up and installing pool tables.

Hats off to john Palmer for his dedication, he really loves what he is doing and thats what it takes to achive his standards.

Good to see people friends I have not seen in years and meeting and making new friends and contacts.

P. s chamionship deserves a lot of good words for putting on such a great class for installers, the team at championship gets my round of applause.
