I have been told about an antique (1896 possibly) Brunswick 5x10 pool table with the block square legs but not sure what model. The guy supposedly wants $1300 for it. I haven't been told about the shape but may be able to get some pictures of it. If nothing else I could refinish it and sell it. Supposedly it is made of the rare Brazillian Rosewood. Should I jump on it?

I wonder if it might be harder to find a buyer for a 5 x 10 as opposed to a 9' or 8', considering space limitations. Plus the fact that many buyers might find that large table intimidating.

But if you were buying it for yourself the price sounds pretty reasonable.

I'd love to have a 5x10. Think of the confidence you'd have if you could consistently make balls on that.

Yeah there is a guy that plays out of the same bar that I go to who is in a wheelchair. He has a 5x10 at home. They were playing for the point of the local county fun league last night at the opponents bar with 9 foot tables. He ran the rack when he got up there. Since he is so used to the bigger table, the 9 footer was easy.

My friend might go halvsies with me beu neither of us has a place to store it right now. So we'll see.
