changing the joint

I have an old cue my dad gave to me about 15 yrs ago. I was wondering is it possible to change the joint to a unilock? I have gotten used to the predator shafts and don't want to buy another shaft for the cue since I have 2 preds already, so if this is possible how much would it cost? Thanks cuemakers.

easier to change the insert but depending on the joint uniloc are usually bigger dia because of the shoulder. shouldnt be that big of a deal. worst case you need to plug it and re tap

now that i re read you post i think u want to change the butt to match the shafts that already match the predator cue

what type of cue is it? cost would depend in is it is even worth it to convert

i'm assuming insert is the shaft part. how much to change that?

The cue is cheap, looks nice though. It's called Orchid It has a lot of sentimental value to me since my dad bought it for me when I was 10 yrs old. The price to change it doesn't matter to me I'm just used to the shaft that I play with.
