Changing the pin on cuetec

How do you guys feel about changing the pin on cuetec? Wanting to be able to use a wood shaft. Just wondering about heating the pin on a fiberglass cue.

Easy change. About 30 seconds of heat to remove that screw. Or..... You can buy a tap from Kj Simpson who post here.

I have made a wood shaft, and tapped it with the tap from KJ. I used a phenolic insert, as the tap doesn't cut threads into wood as well as other materials due to the more roundness of the thread.
