I have a project in mind to customize some joint protectors and need the "stock" if you will. I would like to start off doing a few (maybe 5 or 6 sets of 1 butt/2shafts) and possibly do many more depending on how they come out. The biggest issue is that they would need to be able to accept typical glue. I know there are issues with delrin. Any type of wood would be the best as long as it would readily accept glue. I don't care about what kind of wood would be used since it would be covered up, and I don't want any patterns or textures on them. Just flat, plain cylinders or maybe a slight dome top, but not much. If wood (my preference), no finish required on wood. If the initial project goes well, I might want to order about 100 sets.
Any takers?
thanks,
Scott
