Anyone have one of those cheap trademark global cues that are overloading on amazon? I'm looking for the kind that has the brass pin in the shaft. I just need the shaft to fix another no brand cue that my stepdad for some reason likes. I van get them for like $23 on amazon. Just figured I'd check around here first. Thanks.

This is the joint I'm looking for if it helps. Also, can ferrules be changed to accommodate a glue on tip rather than a screw on?

I have changed these out to regular ferrules few times.
If someone has one to donate. Just let me know they can just send it to my address and i will put you a ferrule and le pro tip on it for free, you just pay the shipping. Ive got one that is close but is made for recessed joint it came off a old 70's or 80's pabst blue ribbon cue.

Aren't a lot of these made of ramin wood?

That is a lot of the problems in terms of long-term stability, i had one that a customer had and i told them that the ferrule that broke, it was cheaper to buy a whole complete new replacement than to pay a cueman to repair hers', i ended up selling here a maple shaft that i was able to find that had the exact same pin and she was happy as a clam!!!

Take care guys and dolls

Well thanks jl, I might just take you up on that. I think ill just end up buying a whole new cue just for the shaft. Oh well though, its only $23. If my step dad wants a nicer shaft, he can go buy one himself, lol.

One question. If he wants to get a nicer shaft, can he get a partial and get the pin swapped from this shaft to a new shaft, or would a new pin be needed for that?
