I will be in Chicago the evening of 6/5. Anybody in the area like to meet a shoot a little? I have always wanted to see Chris's, I have heard so much about the place.

This will be a good opportunity for somebody to beat up on a fellow poster . I am a C player and since we can no longer carry on our cues I will be using a house cue.

Hey bud if it's 14.1 that you wanna play, try Red Shoes instead. Hardly any straight pool players at Chris's, except George Fels, whom you might catch a glimpse of. If you can go south to Red Shoes, there will be plenty 14.1 players. You should PM Dmgwalsh (Dennis) if you're looking for a game.

Wednesday nights there's a scratch 8 ball tournament, race to 2, round robin format, $10 entry.

That night, I'll be at City Pool Hall, 640 W. Hubbard, from about 6:00pm to maybe 9:00 with a league teamate or two for a little practice. This place can be noisy, and it has a lot of TV's hanging around, but the tables are great, the food is very good, especially for the price, and I have a final league team Vegas trip tourney happening there on Saturday, so I'm only playing there this week until the tourney's over. You're certainly welcome to swing by if you want.

Might be a good stop before heading over to Chris's.

Pro-tyme is a great place to play. I shoot there too. Real classy environment and they just added a bar and they serve top quality restaurant style food. The pro shop is probably the best in the South Suburbs for whatever you want in billiard equipment.
