It's been awhile but I'm back on the forum and there's still a lot of hating going on. Threads about girls not as good as guys. Hating on kiss of deaths team. I remember when it was just about soft breaks and aiming systems.
Look pools got a lot of catching up to do and it's not helping when ppl spit negativity, instead of giving encouragement.
Pools been a secret game in the dark. Nobody shared knowledge so it never grew and when it had chances ppl shot it down by saying that's not how the game should be played. "Break hard or not at all"
What other sport is played where ppl don't know the basic rules? Walk into a bar and I bet everyone can tell you how to play a game of beer pong but thinks that in eightball you can't play your ball of theirs? Or scratching on purpose is ok if they see ur last ball is in the kitchen. Scooping is a legit jump shot? Wtf!
Fundamentals aren't even grounded completely in this game. Other than stance and stroke the rest is just a grey area. Hal, Stan, CJ and a slew of others are trying to help but all they get is "just put it in the hole with some prayer english." Pool a game of aiming until now has never had any groundwork laid out on aiming that was solid in theory and execution. Those that play well either can't convey what the do or simply don't wanna share. So stop hating and put the troll back under the bridge that u live under ppl.
As for hating on the girls from Kiss of Death by talking about their abilities?
that's just straight hating. They are bringing much needed attention to a sport that desperately needs it.
Duddy and Adoni have put a lot more into the game then just buying an expensive cue and rail birding like the rest of you haters. They play and they promote. Last thing you did to promote pool was buy a hustler t shirt to where while u sweat a game u have no money on?
Point is chill out and let ppl do for the sport what you can't. Then maybe one day you can watch them on tv making real money and say I knew that guy.
