I hadn't heard of the kind of wood in the forearm and butt sleeve. It looks great. Isn't Chris Byrne in PA?

How does the cue hit?

Neither had I, but I was told it's part of the rosewood family...If anybody has info on corzinfino it would be appreciated... Chris Byrne is from Denver CO....and it plays great....cbcues.com

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The wood was obtained thru an exotic wood dealer in florida many years ago. I have never seen any other pices since I got it. The pictures don't show the deep character it has. There is oldmost a translucent pinkish color in the grain lines. It is a very attractive wood. Dale you truly have a one of a kind cue. Chris.

Chris,

Your right about the pics....the cue looks much better in your hands.
Does anybody have any info on corzinfino?

I left a message with the wood supplier. I will post info as I get it. all I know is it is from southamerica and it is a rosewood variety. It has the working consistancy of east indian rosewood, Maybe a little harder. Chris.

Nice cue snowmon I have 5 Chris Byrne cues, with a new one on the way. The combination of workmanship and playability is a result of the time Chris puts into make each and every cue. If there is one flaw he won't let the cue out of his shop. I have Chris making a cue from a John Davis blank, I could have sent it to anybody but I chose Chris because I know he will do a great job.

Thanks
Ted
