I am putting together all the details to start next summer.
Here is the format.
3 person team.
Saturday
VNEA rules. round robin play

1 point for every ball pocketed, or 10 points for winning game.

36 teams, playing 3 rounds of 6 team groupings

Points accumilated earn strokes for Sundays 3 person golf scramble (same team as pool)

Possible 13 strokes with full field, 1 stroke for every 100 points

ties will be broken by amount of unused points

Cash prizes for top finishers of golf scramble, after receiving strokes from pool tourny.

Working on all the small details to make it run smooth and be fun.
I am going to limit the first one to 36 teams.
Entry fee will be $300 per team plus cart rental.
Just trying to find out how many people would be interested in playing this type of format.

A weekend of Pool and Golf.

I talked to Chris last weekend at a GAT event about this tourney and I think it's got great potential.

You don't have to be a great golfer, if you're a good pool player!

Idealy you would like a team that has good pool players, a good golfer and a couple okay golfers. This looks like it will be a fun weekend for everyone involved and will become a recognizable annual event.

Best of luck Chris, you've got my support! I'll do my best to put a team in (we'll see what happens with the TWINS).
