Hi cue fans
Chris Melling made is Mosconi Cup debut in 2011 and this is the cue he used for the tournament. Europe won the Mosconi cup that year and Chris was a stalwart for the team. Mixing his precision potting and flair, he displayed great character under the immense pressure the Mosconi Cup seems to put on players. Great players can easily crumble during the Mosconi Cup and some, like Chris, step up and rise to the occasion.
Look at any footage of Chris during the 2011 Mosconi Cup and he is using this cue.
The cue itself is a Predator Ikon 7 from the first Ikon series with Chris's own Predator 314-2 shaft. Cue was used extensively by Chris in 2011 and 2012 and he won other titles with the cue. It is obviously used but it is in great condition, Chris does treat his cues with respect (unlike some other Mosconi Cup team members
. This has to be one of the best looking Predator cues made.
The buyer of the cue will have the first option of buying Chris's actual 2011 Mosconi Cup shirt. It would be nice for the cue and shirt to end up in the same collection but it is not essential.
I don't think specifications are necessary with a collectible such as this but if there is a burning desire to see them, they will be provided. See attached pics of Chris signing the cue at my house.
An instant collectible with a very nice history behind it. Lets face it, any cue used by a multiple World Champion such as Chris is going to be valued now and in the future. PM me or email to sdvali72@gmail.com. The price will be kept of the thread in order to protect the buyers investment but it is something that is in the realms of an easy purchase for a lot of people. I will ship anywhere in the world.
