Being single, and pretty much a hermit, the primary person I buy gifts for is me.
An advantage is that I can't complain about what I got, and have yet to exchange a gift for something else.
A disadvantage is that due to my lack of self control, I usually can't wait til Christmas to open the gifts.
Another is that it's hard to act surprised when I open them.
This year the few Christmas gifts I'm getting are ones that I decided on because of AZB.
From reading reviews and comments on this forum, I was able to narrow down my choices to 3 products.

When I received it, I couldn't wait til the big day and had to open and check it out. Excellent Gift.
A Pool Lesson with Jerry Briesath . . A DVD set by Jerry Briesath
I'm looking forward to checking this one out. There are a lot of good reviews, but what pushed me over the edge was the recommendation from the book Play Great Pool.
UPS is supposed to deliver this one Monday. - Don't know if I can resist the urge to open it early.
CTE/Pro One The Final Chapter . . . A DVD set by Stan Shuffet
This one was a no-brainer. Since I purchased the original CTE/Pro One video when it first came out, I know the quality of the instruction by Stan is superb. The original one got me to about 90% of where I should be, and I expect the follow up DVDs to get me across the finish line.
It was mailed Friday and will probably be here Monday Or Tueday. . - . .Again, I don't know if I can wait to open it.
I'm looking forward to studying and learning from my gifts and all in all I think I'll be as happy with them as
Ralphie with his Red Ryder BB gun that he got in the classic movie A Christmas Story..
