Chuck Starkey / BD SS 360 - 60" (Hybrid)

Hybrid set up !
Purchased a 30" bumperless Chuck Starkey full splice rosewood
Into rosewood with a stacked leather wrap and sharp looking
Points. -- 3/8 x 10 pin. -- my compliments to Mr. Starkey.

I sent the butt to Bob Danielson for a Custom 30" Shaft.
Mr. D. did not disappoint -- shaft is amazing
the butt and shaft are like Happily married.
Nice solid hit but not Overly stiff. Very nice feedback/response from the shaft
I also had Bob install a moori j tip that I provided.

Thanks. It plays great, I had to get use to 60" inch cue but after a few sessions
At the table all good. -- I was a bit sceptacal.
I must say that the longer cue is a good bet for those

I will send the butt to Chuck for an additional shaft
To complete the cue.

That's a beautiful cue. Love the wrap, and the wood combos. I'm a natural color cue fan.

BTW Chuck can probably send you a shaft without needing to see the butt. I'm betting he makes his joint sizes consistent. Try out a ferrule-less shaft if you can.
