Last night I saw a guy from Cincinatti in a poker tournament in LasVegas. He was eliminated but finished 9 th.When I first saw him on the TV I was surprised and I could not recall his name immediately.Around 9-10 years ago he staked Rafael Martinez in few action scenes. He plays pool.
His name is Mark Hanna.
Did u also see him?

Hanna Banana? The Fat Man? How the heck did he ever get to 9th place in a poker tourney. It takes balls and a lot of heart to get that far. That guy has the heart the size of a pea with two matching ones in his pants ! He must'a had a lot of good cards.

I remember my buddy giving Mark 15-5 in 1-hole at Michael's in Cincinnati in a race to 3 for all the cheese we could get him to bet, which for a rich guy wasn't very much. He was up 2 games to 0 and my buddy JR was -6 (yep that's right, he neede to make 21 balls that game) in the 3rd game and Mark had 3 to the good and he wouldn't raise the bet. We did get a lot of side action though. Somehow JR came to life and we walked out with the cheese that set.

The final shot in the set cam down to my buddy needing 2 balls and Hanna needing 1. It was my buddy's shot (our pocket is the top left) and he surveyed the table for what seemed like an eternity. When he shot he kicked to the bottom rail and kicked behind the 5 ball which ended up banking off the opposite side rail and into his pocket while the 1 ball fired straight up the rail into his pocket. The railbirds whent crazy.

Use the wei table below to see how the shot was set up.

Hi Mike Janis,
By the way how is JR doing? Where is he living? did he go back to cleveland from Detroit?I have not been hearing much lately.

I must say, I was hoping for a better name to be thrown out there. It would have been better had you just made it up and said it was Bucky or something. But speaking of which, is Bucky still playing Sherm? I haven't seen him in awhile. I think the last time i saw him he was playing with a broomstick at beechmont.
